Response Point is delivered on industry-leading hardware, offering a complete solution in one affordable package.
Microsoft® Response Point™ Service Pack 1 is scheduled for release this summer (July 2008) and will add new features to Response Point along with the delivery of Aastra's first response point system. Among the features to be added this summer is support for SIP trunking. This provides the feature for Response Point to utilize SIP VoIP telephone service along with its' current support for analog (POTS) trunks.
Microsoft has announced that Cbeyond and New Global Telecom (NGT) will offer digital voice services (VoIP SIP trunking) for Microsoft’s Response Point phone system. The two providers will offer fully integrated VoIP service with Microsoft Response Point Service Pack 1.
